Hawke Fastmount 3-9x40 AO
£99
The Hawke Fastmount 3-9x40 AO is arguably the most popular airgun scope in the UK, and it is not hard to see why. It offers genuine optical quality, robust construction, and a feature set that puts many more expensive scopes to shame.
The 3-9x magnification range is ideal for air rifle shooting. At 3x you have a wide field of view for close-range ratting and informal plinking, while 9x gives you enough magnification to place pellets precisely at 40 metres and beyond. The adjustable objective (AO) front ring eliminates parallax error, which is critical for air rifle accuracy at varying distances.
The Mil-Dot reticle is etched on glass, meaning it stays sharp and clear at any magnification. It also gives you holdover references for distance shooting without having to adjust your turrets. The turret adjustments themselves are precise and repeatable, with positive clicks that you can both hear and feel.
Hawke scopes are built to handle the unique punishment of spring-powered air rifles, which actually produce more recoil than many firearms. The Fastmount is nitrogen-filled for fogproof and waterproof performance.
