As an oily sea fish, Bluey releases plenty of natural scent and attraction into the surrounding water, helping predators locate the bait even in coloured water or lower visibility conditions. The long silver body also provides excellent visual attraction and creates a substantial meal for larger predators.

Blueys are particularly effective for pike fishing and can be presented whole or cut down depending on the size of bait and presentation required. Sections can also be used when you want to maximise the release of oils and scent around your hookbait.
