The Okuma Azores XP 6000 is a heavy-duty spinning reel engineered for demanding saltwater fishing, offering an excellent balance of line capacity, cranking power and durability.

At its heart is Okuma's Precision Dual Force Drag (DFD) system, using multi-disc Carbonite and felt drag washers to provide smooth and controlled pressure when fighting powerful fish. The 6000 models deliver an impressive 13kg maximum drag, giving you plenty of stopping power when it matters.

The reel features a rigid die-cast aluminium body, sideplate and rotor alongside corrosion-resistant high-density gearing and a precision-machined brass pinion gear. Okuma's CRC corrosion-resistant coating and Hydro Block water-tight drag seal provide additional protection when fishing in harsh saltwater environments.

Inside you'll find 6 corrosion-resistant High Performance Bearings plus one roller bearing, while Okuma's Mechanical Stabilising System supports the spool shaft at key stress points to minimise flex under heavy loads.

The machined two-tone anodised aluminium spool, solid aluminium bail wire and machined aluminium handle complete a reel built to withstand serious use from the shore or boat.

The 6000 size weighs 526g and holds approximately 300m of 0.30mm, 220m of 0.35mm or 170m of 0.40mm mono.
